This brown Daria Mulberry style clutch bag was possibly destined for the bin with the cuts on the front. I could of just used the leather for other items I make, but thought I’d try to give it a new lease of life, especially as the leather is of good thick quality.
Rather than just to try and repair the slashes that were in the leather (knowing they may well open up again) I decided to customise the bag instead.
So here we are, with a lovely rich brown pretty clutch bag, a statement piece, detailed in shades of cream flowers and gold / antique coloured studs, with brown lining and useful once more, a day at the races perhaps.
